Eggs and Bunnies!

Here are some cute moments from March...

Lewis absolutely loves his "soldier" from Auntie Fogo and his Peter Rabbit from Mommy - gifts from London. They've captured his imagination!

Love my Beau and how much he loves his sunglasses!

Lewis and I had a little outing with his friend Caroline to Grounds for Sculpture. They had a marvelous time!

And, we've started soccer! Saturday morning soccer...I feel like I've just begun a very long, fun, new chapter in my life!

And, here's Lewis doing one of his favorite activities...copying words from a book onto the ipad! We don't hand over the ipad too often, but this seems like a great use for it!

We went to about 6 different Easter egg hunts this year! The first was in Hopewell at the old train station. It was freezing, but the boys got eggs, sat on an old fire engine, and met the Easter Bunny. Beau was rather mesmerized! 

Before we could let the Wasdens actually leave, we had to celebrate Megan's birthday, albeit a month early! The girls helped me put together our enchilladas, and we had some seriously delish brownies with ice cream baked in tea cups ala Mike!

The girls finished off the night with a finger puppet show for the boys - too cute. We'll miss them a BILLION! (We already do!)

Right after that, we had the church egg hunt! 

And finally, EASTER! 

The Easter Bunny wised up after last year and realized that whatever goes in the basket is breakfast. So, we had applesauce, bunny graham crackers, yogurt raisins, and of course a bit of chocolate too! The boys were very excited to find their Easter treats!

This expression makes me think of little Johnny Beau's namesake...Papa Johnny Boy!

We have a tradition of doing a little toddler buffet in Easter eggs for Easter lunch. The boys loved that!
(It looks like we must have stripped off the cute church clothes before getting a picture. Drat! I'm sure they were adorable! They wore their matching plaid jackets and lederhosen...how could they not have been!)

Our plans had changed a couple times at the last minute, so it ended up being just us for Easter. We took that chance to scale back our dinner plans, but we were still quite thrilled with how delicious dinner turned out!

Despite the fact that it started raining in the afternoon, we couldn't let Easter pass without doing our own egg hunt for the boys, even if it had to be indoors. 

 

This is serious business!
