December 2015 - Christmas Eve

There's possibly nothing I love more than the sacred feeling of Christmas Eve.

This year was unique because we were flying out on the evening of Christmas Eve to go to Cape Town for Fo and Lekka's wedding. We decided just to move everything up a little!

We held our Christmas Eve on the night of the 21st.
Christmas Morning was the 22nd. We had the rest of the day to play, enjoy, pool, and clean up.
We spent the 23rd playing, packing, going to our high tea at the Raffles, and Mike and I enjoying a really fun and very late night at the Lawrie's for a Christmas dinner.
After that, we actually took down all the decorations and had our tree removed BEFORE Christmas even came.
And, we flew out!
We were even in time to catch Christmas with everyone in South Africa too!

Here are some pictures from our Christmas Eve dinner and Nativity Reading.

Christmas isn't all it's "cracked" up to be!
We don't like loud bangs of Christmas crackers!!!

A little Christmas cracker magic trick!

And our nativity reading with hand puppets!
P.S. It looks like it was super reverent! ;-)

Digital age of Christmas reading!

December 2015 - Lewis' Birthday

Even though we celebrate Lewis' half birthday, he got quite the real birthday celebration too this year!

First here's some cute shots of Daddy reading to the boys.

We began the day with balloons and breakfast in bed. This cute little 7 year old was very excited about that!!!

We finished our meal at the table and opened just a couple small presents.

Lewis loved getting this magic set!

I took the boys on an outing to the science centre that day. Inspired by that, Lewis helped me decorate his cake to be a "science" cake! It was definitely creative, and unlike any I've ever done!

We had our little neighbor, Charlotte, and family over to partake with us!

Last few blows!

And a wish!
Happy Birthday to our darling 7 year old!!!
