We had a nice start jumping back into things for the new year. Mike had a quick business trip to Thailand. I scheduled a bunch of final visits to schools to evaluate for next year. Had to get those to dos in before Baba arrived!!! And, we had a few different dinner dates with friends over. Each time, the friends were graced with a "show" from Lewis, who is rather obsessed with shows. The majority of Lewis melt downs in our house currently happen over whether or not there is time for a show, if he forgot to plan a show and it's now too late, if his show doesn't go as planned, if something messes up one of his show set ups, if his show set up actually involved messing up every single toy or dish or piece of furniture in our house (those lead to Mommy melt downs first and then Lewis melt downs later!!! ;-) )...it's intense! We now have a family rule that we don't have shows after dinner time, because it makes us go to bed too late and riles the boys up so much that they're too excited to settle down for bed. Good problems to have!!! :-)
