Dec '14 - Christmas Eve Nativity & Preparing for Santa

Our family Nativity was especially fun this year because our friends, the Reeds, had lent us their costumes. The boys loved that! I can't say it lent itself to the most reflective, quiet, tender nativity reenactment we've ever done. But, it was very cute and fun and only minorly frustrating to try to contain the exuberance! :-)

 The lamb costumes were the most popular!

I'm thinking this is interpretive dancing to Away in a Manger.

Wise men gifts.

Frankincense, myrrh, and a megaphone. Naturally.

Ah, now we've found the gifts. (Lewis is not our competitive child at all ;-) )

He was a great sport! :-) And was very loved and adored all evening long. Very special to have a baby for our nativity! 

Then on to dessert!

Must be prepared for Santa and the reindeer!

We read "Twas the Night Before Christmas", and miraculously had excited boys sleeping before too long!

This magical scene then appeared before Mike and I headed to bed!
