May 2016 - Vesak Day

For Vesak Day this year, we headed to the Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery - a Buddhist temple in Bishan also known as the Bright Hill temple. It's quite a big, amazing one, and we loved being there for the Vesak Day festivities.

There was some quiet worship, lots of market stands, some activities and shows, and lots of incredible art and architecture.

The boys loved playing by these miniature Buddha statues.
