We spent a wonderful five days with the family and enjoyed every minute!
The boys were literally in cousin heaven. Those girls are totally amazing! They gave the boys non-stop love and fun and energy. It was so fun for them!
The wedding was fabulous! Alex and Jenny are a perfect couple, and it was so fun to spend time with all the Jacobsons.
Wasden love at the wedding! :-)
It was an adult only affair, so the girls were sweet enough to stay home with our boys. And, we had a faboo night out!
Best part of all...I hadn't realized that Jenny is part Mexican. SO...this was a great party!!! They had a mariachi band after the ceremony. The reception was catered by Cafe Rio - awesome! And, the whole crowd was ready to party and dance! It was a blast!
We spent Sunday doing lovely Sunday things and having to say goodbye to Scott and Ty. Boo! Not long enough with them!
During the week, we headed up to Salt Lake to the dinosaur museum where Uncle Thurl works. Beau was especially entranced by the huge dinosaur tooth that Uncle Thurl let him touch! The boys loved seeing all these dinosaurs - it was a very impressive museum!
They also had an exhibit on the history of chocolate. What's not to love about that!
On our last evening, we got to celebrate our dear Megita's birthday! If the birthday alone wasn't enough to celebrate, she passed the test for her driving permit that day, so it was high excitement! Mike and I each got a turn to take her out driving in the evening. She's pretty awesome!
Here is the group, all suited up for the Team Megan party!
Papa John taught the boys how to use matches to light the cake! They were pretty into it!
There is no way this trip could have lasted long enough. We love the feeling being with all the family! Thank you, Wasdens! It was such a treat!!!
